Our Mission Statement:
Through the cooperative efforts and services of NW BOCES, school districts will improve student achievement and maximize resources.
Northwest Colorado Board of Cooperative Educational Services (NW BOCES) is a cooperative service agency providing special education and other services to its member school districts. We employ Special Service Providers who work with special education students in schools throughout Northwest Colorado. These service providers include Occupational Therapists, School Psychologists and Speech Language Pathologists. In addition we employ two Assistant Special Education Directors and serve as the state's Special Education Administrative Unit for our districts.
NW BOCES operates other educational programs on behalf of school districts, including Preschool Programs and Alternative Day Treatment Programs. Additional services provided include regional grant-writing and administration, professional development for district staff and student events including annual Colorado Model UN and CU Science Discovery workshops.
